A Little Flack About What We Lack!

So years ago and every year later at ones show, we all hear how things will come in a few years near. This and that and even a cloning cat. But all is a no go. Probably due to greed, but we'll forget that today at my show.

Not so far away,
We will have quite the display.
Holograms galore,
Will be in store.

There will be flying cars,
Making trips easier to bars.
Robots that can do all,
Even pleasure you at your hall.

Oh what the nuts will do,
With those at their zoo.
Clones of this and that,
Even that of a cat.

Re-pet anyone?
Don't forget your laser beam gun.
This disease and that,
Will go bye bye at every mat.

Yeah friggin right.
That will never happen any night.
Robot parts,
Like robot hearts,

All just for you,
Will easily come due.
No wallet at all,
Just swipe your arm at your hall.

The chip we implanted,
Will make your every wish granted.
Solar power every where.
Or water powered if you dare.

All will be off the grid.
Hope on that no one placed a bid.
Virtual reality will be here,
You can watch cheerleaders cheer.

And do plenty of other stuff.
You and zombies could get rough.
Don't forget 3D.
It will be around for all to see.

Oh wait!
That is our fate.
And it is crap.
Maybe we are better off across the map.

Now some may have come to be but none of them are as commercially available as they predicted at their sea. Who are they anyway? I guess that is for another day. I will have to ask them for such a pass. Of course then they may get mad at my little rhyming ass.

Experience spring, have a fling.

  1. Solar power would be nice
But to nuck power say no dice
A clone of me would be OK if I could be the boss
I'd make them weed the garden and even tend the moss

don't forget the ever growing cell towers
but, tell me will there still be flowers
will clouds still bring cleansing showers
can time change or will we still count hours

the future world scares me I admit
chips in our brains will they transmit
clones of every kind they will submit
will humans have to carry a tool kit
what will happen to human wit...
    I'll need a hide-away lickety -split

      Maybe cleansing in tears
Flowers are getting chewed up and spit out
By more and more houses about
      The hide away sounds nice
Find one for a cheap price

  11. We don't need chips to track us down,
We all carry cells that map our town.
A flying car does sound heavenly,
unless we end up like Malaysia 370.

  14. I heard this week in 50 years we'd be living on the moon.
People that believe that are silly loons.
    Is that really practical, honey?
And who could afford all the cost in money?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well people have bought spots on the moon
So I guess they are hoping to live on a moon sand dune
We'll be underwater before the moon though
Maybe we could ship all the greedy people up there or below

  18. Hard to know what the future will bring
A flying car would really be quite the thing
    solar power would be cool
really cheaper to heat a school
give me a robot to do all my work
    no responsibility would I shirk!!

  19. I was told in 1980 that I'd have a flying car by now. Still waiting!!

And if they plant us with chips, we'll never, ever be off the grid...not even in my flying car.

    1. Yeah so the chips can bite me

  21. I can't ever imagine a fly car
I'd probably get lost and take mine to a star.
Technology keeps advancing day by day
so maybe that will come true in a time not far away!
