Only The Cat At Our Mat?

Is it only me that gets no glee from this crap at every sea? What crap is that? I guess you will just have to follow the cat. Don't worry though, no litterbox is going to show.

How are you?
Sometimes comes due.
What are you doing?
Like the damn thing is wooing.

That is good.
They say if understood.
Then what is up?
Like a repeat pup.

Give a dead end reply,
The crap still flies on by.
The thing never stops.
Out another message drops.

Half an hour later,
It's see you later gator.
If you are lucky that is,
With this crap biz.

When it could be said and done,
In a two minute phone call run.
But oh friggin no.
A texting they will go.

Good for a quick note.
That has my vote.
But sitting there typing away.
Pffft to that crap I say.

Pick up the phone.
Hear the funky tone.
Use your yap,
Forget the texting lap.

I know you have to speak.
Oh no! Your brains may leak.
You can't use idk and the like.
My, that is a rough hike.

Then your voice may go,
You'll lose your flow.
Talking makes you sad.
That is just so bad.

So is it just the cat,
Here at his non texting mat?
Do you love texting too?
I won't, just a little, judge you.

There was my crap texting rant for the day. Hate that crap at my bay. If you have something long to say don't make me sit until May. If you do I may get kind of crass with my texting hating little rhyming ass.

Experience spring, have a fling.

  1. Not just the cat! I don't text either. Never have, never will. Use the device as a phone, people. That IS what it's for.

  3. Texting wastes lots of time
    Old fashioned talking is fine
    Makes it personal
    Just keep it simple
So everything is on the line

    Call it "no texting bub"
    Don't delay have your say
There's got to be a better way

It comes from being rather stupid

  6. I hear ya, bro. To texting just say no! I have never had a cell phone. In that I am quite alone. Once saw a funny comedian, very choice, who made a joke about texters texting "if only I could hear your voice".

  7. I hate talking on the phone, so texting is preferred. Actually, email is best. Texting chains you to your device, responding sometimes for far too long!

    and then scoff

  14. I find that texting can be convenient if I'm not sure that someone is available to take my call. And also, sometimes I'd rather type a message than have someone overhear me talking, or leaving a voicemail message. Ha.

  18. Oops! Our mom loves texting! But only if the messages are short. If they are long, then call or email. She learned to deal with it when The Girl was a teen. She wouldn't hear her phone ring but knew when the phone vibrated from a text. What's wrong with that picture?

  20. I do admit to texting at times
as, I don't want others to hear my chime
it's convenient at work when all have ears
as others sit so very near...

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yeah that is the one time
When there is a point to the chime
      So others can't ease drop

  25. I don't text long texts either. Just a quick note and I am on my way. I also hate talking on the phone. A 2 minute call always turns into a 30 minute one, and I just don't have time for that. That's where the texting always comes in handy.

And she's clumsy wif her thumb
She can't press all those letters
    Like all those cool go-getters
It's okay, or so I'm told,
Cause for texting she's way too old.

Sorry we've been so scarce. I try, but I just can't do a THING with her. Sigh.

would rather sit at puter and write a rhyme!
I think people who have a lot to say
should write an email covering all in a quicker way
