A Ruin For You Today In View!

The cat heard something the other day that made me think you humans are crazy in a while other way. That way is not good. It's no wonder so many of you are misunderstood. What was it? Stick with me for a bit.

A remake is coming,
Sadly, a familiar humming.
But we've been there done that.
No need to be a remake cat.

Then comes the whine.
Been done by the feline.
Why do we need such crap?
No originality across the map.

Hollywood for you.
Remakes make me blue.
And there is loads more,
But I don't wish to bore.

The one that stuck out,
As they continued to pout,
Or be an online tough guy,
Those are worse than a house fly,

Was as stupid as stupid can be.
May as well go hang in a tree.
More brains in a monkey.
Plus they could fit in if they smell funky.

Alright, I will now tell.
No need to raise any hell.
"They are ruining my childhood"
Sadly, that can't be misunderstood.

Idiot humans far and wide,
Who in that saying take pride,
Are as dumb as a stump.
So don't be a chump.

Don't ever say that.
Adhere to the cat.
For it is false as false can be,
And stupid to boot between you and me.

Actually between the whole Internet,
As it was typed out by this pet.
Whoopsy, sorry stupid humans everywhere.
Not sorry, as the cat doesn't care.

A remake, reboot, re-this, re-that,
Usually lean toward the very sucky stat.
But they will NOT ruin your childhood at all.
For it is over, done, finished and you had a ball.

Do you get the cat? Are you one that whines like that? They only way a remake or anything can ruin your childhood is if you go back in time and undo the good. Other than that it won't ruin it even if the remake is shit. Now I am done with my ranting pass. No need to thank my little rhyming ass.

Fill your rummer, get drunk all summer.

  1. So technically, it should be they are ruining our childhood memories? Because that's what Lucas tried to do with the last three Star Wars films, and they weren't even remakes.

  2. Yea who cares? Just don't see the stoopit remake if you think it's going to ruin some fantasy you have from your perfect childhood. I for one am looking forward to seeing the new Rocky movie. I know it can't compare to the original, but Rocky coaching Apollo Creed's son is intriguing to me!

    1. Yeah, that one may not be so bad
As it technically is more of a sequel at their pad

  3. And some remakes are better than the original (Parent Trap comes to mind).

      Then the remake will suck

  6. Remakes can be pretty bad, but they're not memory thieves. Grease and Grease II easily come to mind. The first was awesome, the second couldn't hold a candle, but it didn't affect how I felt about #1. :)

    1. Oh wait, if't a '2' does that really make it a re-make? Never mind me. I did just see they're doing a remake of Grease on Fox. Jan, 2016 release date. I'll be there. I think. ;)

    2. Yeah, kind of not a remake in that one
More of a sequel run lol
But any to come doesn't make the first bad
Can't ruin the memories of that at any pad

    Improved versions and also new
    Remakes should be better
    Advantage of a once-over
Good ones are there, quite a few

  12. I like to watch remakes and compare them to the first
it just goes with my theory that there is nothing really ever new
they just keep repeating themselves over and over again
and think sometimes we haven't a clue.

    betty

    1. Yep, repeat is the way
They do it every single day

  13. All of the remakes are likely due to the lack of creativity to come up with something new.

    A good movie
Would turn a happy childhood from one that was blue.
It never worked that way for me
So, stupid people, let us see:
    Don't watch the remake
And quiet down for goodness sake.

  26. Sometimes a remake of films will no longer do
Like war films the planes they had are now so few
Imagine all the planes in world war two
And now all we can muster are one or two.
The Fighters and Bombers are no longer flying
And the crew s are so old ~ the last of them dying.

    1. And imagine staging a film of another D Day
We have so few troops it would be a flee day . . . lol
There are now so few ships and not many boats
We'd have nothing to film cause there's not much that floats . . . lol

    2. lol that is when cgi comes a calling
Then viewers won't find it appalling
At least the less and less
We still have the same old rerun mess
All damn war movies are the same
      They've gotten rather lame
How many times can you tell the same thing?
Seems an infinite amount as up many more spring

  34. Remakes are all the rage and I am sick of it. Spiderman is not old and yet it was redone, same with The Bourne Identity. There are also the movie that does quite well so they keep making parts 2, 3 and 4. Iron Man, Mission Impossible, Taken, Star Wars, Fantastic four, X-Men, The Avengers, Star Trek, the list goes on and on and on with "The Adventure Continues..." How many Dracula remakes are there???
