Expect Today At My Bay!

Are you expecting to rhyme here today? Well you would be right at your bay. Damn, could be the only time you're right all day long. Whoops, was typing that out wrong?

I expect no backlash.
It will go away in a flash.
Not like the Flash.
He could leave a gash.

But isn't he good?
So no fear in my hood.
But isn't he fake?
Yep, when you're awake.

But maybe in a dream,
You are on a superhero team.
I really don't want to know.
Spandex can be a scary show.

Did you expect that?
Is that a no where you're at?
That I would expect.
No need for expect neglect.

But I expect you'll live.
Maybe even forgive.
Forgive and forget?
The life of this pet.

Oh no, I'm wrong.
You went all Donkey Kong.
Meaning you ran naked with only a tie on?
Hmmm, did your clothes you pawn?

No! You went crazy.
Things got hazy.
You smashed a window.
The glass killed one below.

Now you are in jail.
There you and Tiny wail.
Not wail in a good way.
Unless you like some Tiny play.

And then you got stabbed.
You were really jabbed.
Whoops, you are now dead.
All from what I said.

Nah, you're fine and dandy.
You snacked on candy.
The candy went, boom.
Your head blew like a mushroom.

I could go on all day. Get it at my bay? Expectations can arise and they aren't always wise. Do you expect the worst or the best? Expectations can be a pest. But if you expect the worst at least no bad surprises will make your balloon burst. Then the good would make you happy. Unless the worst always happens and you stay sappy. Then you may need some happy gas. Don't expect any from my little rhyming ass.

Enjoy your winter, smash a printer.

  17. As a pathological optimist, I tend to expect the best, but also hold onto a sense of pragmatic realism, too. When things don't go as well as I was hoping, I'm never crushed by it. C'est la vie!

You could really mess with our heads by writing a post that DOESN'T rhyme... :)

  25. Expectations? I have them every day and get derailed, so I'm thinking I need to go more with the flow. As for you, I know that you can rhyme endlessly with apparent ease. If you got tired of your day job, you could probably find fortune and fame as a rapper.
