The Invaders Return Like A Fern!

The cat can't keep them out. Cassie let's them walk about. Now Pat brought one in. That is just a sin. He let him play on my tower. I think I need a new way to make them cower.

Here we are.
Alone at our sand bar.
Pat talks to us.
We don't cuss.

I just wanted a nap.
Pat is such a sap.
He thought I shunned him.
Then things got grim.

He put him up here.
That gets an, oh dear.
How can this be?
After all the work from me.

He's exploring.
He stopped my snoring.
This will not do.
Can't have a fluffball in view.

 He's looking toward the hole.
That is his goal.
That's my spot.
He has to be caught.

Cassie let it happen.
Maybe I should stop flappin.
I could use it as a trap.
I'll smack that sap.

Cassie sees me coming.
With him she is chumming.
What? She's far away?
Bah, still chumming I say.

I'm ready to strike.
He has to take a hike.
Get out here, you.
I don't like your fluffy view.

Yeah, I'm talking to you.
Don't back talk at my zoo.
Try and jump on me.
I'll make you flee.

Job well done.
I made him run.
Just with my cranky look.
 He left our nook.

What was that? You don't believe the cat? Bah, I really made him go. He was just another foe. A hiss, a spit and a whack and he left our shack. No one gets my tower. The senile guy has that power. That is only because Pat won't let me strike. Ever need to make anyone take a hike? Intruders sure are a pain when they come to pass. But they get pain when they mess with my little rhyming ass.

Experience spring, have a fling.

They are intruders out on a jaunt
    If they mess things up
    They're in for a wallop
They have lots of things to learn

  11. Where did this furry interloper come from, Orlin? You say Pat brought him in? What on earth was he thinking?!?

My sister had a Himalayan years ago. She bought it when it was a kitten, and named it Tonka (like the "tough" trucks). People kept saying things like "Oh, you should have named it Puffy, or Fluffy!" and she answered that it was going to be a biiiig cat someday, and a cutesy little name like Puffy or Fluffy just wouldn't work then.

    2. When I first got Orson, he was very young. Too young to leave his mother, actually, but she had been killed in an accident. He could fit in the palm of my hand. My roommate at the time wanted to name him "Kitty Kitty Bang-Bang," believe it or not, and she said we could just call him "Bang-Bang" when he got older and bigger. I said I wanted to call him Orson. (I had visions of calling him when he was outside, and I wasn't too freakin' thrilled at the thought of my neighbors hearing me yelling "Bang-Bang! Bang-Bang!") Obviously, she didn't get her way.

      Good you denied that dame
People would think you were playing with one of those fake clown guns that have a flag that goes bang
Bang Bang sounds kinda dirty or Flintstones like too, dang

  23. I think it would be fun to have visitors for the cats. :) Not sure my old guy would like it, he's a bit settled in his ways, but Ms. Newbie is a social butterfly. She'd love it, I bet!! She came from a rescue with TONS of cats. They roam around freely in several buildings (inside and out). It's actually a pretty cool set up and I worried our girl would miss it when we adopted her, lol! She seems wonderfully and perfectly content though (whew). :)
